Privacy Policy

We collect information only when it helps us operate, maintain, secure, support, or improve Listing Helper. We do not sell personal information.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, a securely hashed password, and account status.
• Listing information: photos, seller notes, and listing details that you provide or create with the app.
• eBay connection information: your eBay account identifier, display name, encrypted authorization token, and the listing and transfer references needed to send and recover eBay drafts.
• Technical information: basic request and error information that our hosting provider processes to keep the app secure and reliable.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• provide and protect your account;
• analyze item photos and create listing drafts;
• connect your seller account and send drafts to eBay;
• recover interrupted transfers and correct technical problems; and
• maintain and improve Listing Helper.

Service providers

OpenAI processes photos, notes, and related listing information to generate a draft. eBay receives account and listing information when you connect your account or send a draft. DigitalOcean hosts the app and its account database. These providers process information to supply services to us. We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising.

Storage and retention

Uploaded photo files stay in temporary request storage and are deleted after the request succeeds or fails. We do not keep them as listing history. If you send photos to eBay, eBay stores its copies under your eBay account and its own privacy terms.

We keep account information while the account is active. We keep only the eBay connection, listing, and transfer information needed to provide and recover the eBay workflow. We remove saved eBay data when required by a valid eBay account deletion notice.

Your choices

You can disconnect your eBay account in Listing Helper. To ask about, correct, or delete your information, email [email protected].

Security

We use account access controls, encrypted connections, and encrypted eBay authorization tokens to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Policy changes

We will update this page and its effective date if our information practices change.
